21 June: Leading associations to co-operate on EU technical and environmental issues
EGMF, EPTA and Pneurop have signed a mutual co-operation agreement to work together on crucial technical and environmental policy challenges facing their industries. The initial focus will be on energy efficiency. The 3 associations will share information, undertake research, have regular meetings and seek other areas of cooperation on technical and legislative matters.

6 June: EGMF becomes first Associate Member of Orgalime
EGMF, the European Garden Machinery industry Federation has just joined as the first sectoral Associate Member of Orgalime, the European Engineering Industries Association. The Orgalime Annual Assembly approved their membership on 31 May 2011 in Brussels, Belgium
